As a Combat Medic, a Street Medic and later a Ladder Captain, he developed a strong foundation in discipline, problem-solving, and high-pressure decision-making. These skills served him well in his subsequent career as a software engineer, where he helped launch over 40 companies since 1999. However, it was his lifelong passion for fishing that ultimately inspired him to create a platform that would address the unique challenges faced by experienced anglers. By combining his technical expertise with his deep understanding of the angling community, Steve aimed to create a platform that would provide a more sustainable, more supportive, and more rewarding environment for anglers to share their knowledge, showcase their skills, and connect with like-minded individuals.
